Peter wishes he could be everything that Gwen thinks he is. He wants to live up to every last impossible thing she sees in him. He wants to be there every day but he knows himself better than that. He's a danger. He'll always be a danger so long as he puts on the Spider suit and mask.
It's just too bad that he loves Gwen so much, more than he's ever loved anyone and sure that he'll never love anyone quite as much if he's given the chance. ]
